Induction Coil with Magnet

PIRA DCS: 5K-10.20


To demonstrate Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction: A changing magnetic flux produces and electromotive force (EMF):

Move the magnet in and out of a coil connected to a galvanometer. Observe the galvanometer and note the dependence on: the direction of motion, the speed at which the magnet is moved, the orientation of the magnet, and the distance between the magnet and coil.
