Northeastern Illinois University, Truman College and Wright College have designed a pilot program in mathematics and science for students in elementary education who seek an endorsement to teach mathematics at the middle school level. Students may enroll at any of the three campuses at which they have been admitted. The specific titles at the three campuses will vary, but students from each of the campuses will be in the same class. For more information contact:
For the past three years a group of mathematics and science faculty have been engaged in a Teacher Quality Enhancement project to develop a program to prepare middle school teachers (MSTQE). The faculty that have been involved in this include faculty members from the department of physics.
