[NEIU Physics Students] Introductory Solid State Physics

Dear Students,

I would like to bring to your attention the Introduction to Solid State Physics (Phys 344) that is being offered in the Spring 08. This course will deal with crystal structures and lattices and its properties, and on applications of concepts learned in quantum mechanics to solid state systems such as metals and semiconductors. This is a great oppotunity to get a first contact with the field of condensed matter physics.
