[NEIU Physics Students] NEIU SPS Elections 2008

Open nominations for this year's elections were held at our March 2008
meeting.  Elections will be held by closed ballot at our next monthly
meeting on April 21, 2008 (check calendar for changes).  I will have
absentee ballots available for those individuals that cannot make the
meeting.  Please let me know if you require an absentee ballot.

I'm happy to say we had a good turnout and great enthusiasm by members
who want to be actively involved in the Society of Physics Students.
Here are the nominees for each office:

I would like to remind all of the nominees that, to run for office,
you must be a member of the National SPS.  Membership is only $20 for
the year, includes a year's subscription to the outstanding journal
"Physics Today", and also includes membership to another AIP-
affiliated organization of your choice (APS, AAPT, AAS, etc.).  You
can apply online for your National SPS membership here:

Nominees, please print out the confirmation page to show me as
validation of your membership.  I can only include those individuals
on the ballot that have validated their membership.
