A goal of this General Education Course is to assist students in developing: the skills required to analyze and integrate information, an understanding of the scientific method, and the ability to use quantitative methods in the natural sciences. Physics-103 provides students with a broad understanding and appreciation of the physical principles and laws governing the universe as reflected in the following Goals & Learning Outcomes:

  1. Provide students with a broad understanding and appreciation of the physical principles and laws governing the universe.
    1. Students will demonstrate a basic understanding of the concepts and underlying principles of classical physics.
