Formula Sheets
You are allowed to bring a formula sheet to each exam.
Your sheet must satisfy two rules:
- This sheet must consist of a single piece of paper, of the standard size (8.5 x 11).
- Everything on your formula sheet must be handwritten.
Formula sheets which do not meet the above guidelines are not allowed.
There are no exceptions to this rule.
You may write whatever notes you wish on your formula sheet, and you may use
the front and back sides of this piece of paper.
You may not use computer printouts, photocopies or photo reductions of handwritten
notes.

Practice Exams, and Solutions
These are practice exams for the two first midterms (I have given these exams
in previously). These exams test a representative sample of the
material covered so far. It is not possible to test all of the material you
are expected to know in a single hour exam, so you are strongly cautioned
not to assume that material which is not present on these particular
practice exams will not be present on the exam for this course.

Regrade Policy
The intent of this regrade policy is to treat all students as fairly and
uniformly as possible. Students are discourage from asking for
regrades unless they genuinely believe their exams were interpreted
incorrectly. Students who wish to have their midterm exams
regraded must submit the entire exam for a regrade. The score on
a regraded exam may go either up or down.
Effective beginning with the second midterm, students wishing
regrades must submit their exams to
the instructor no later than the lecture immediately following
the lecture in which the graded exams are handed back to students.
You may write a short note on the outside front cover of your exam
explaining where you were misunderstood.
