Quantum Field Theory II

Course Description
Path Integral formulation of quantum field Theory. Regularization and renormalization. Group theory for SU(N), non-Abelian gauge symmetries, gauge theory of strong and electroweak interactions. Nambu-Goldstone Bosons, spontaneous symmetry breaking, the Higgs mechanism. Electroweak processes. Quantum chromodynamics, effective Lagrangians, and the hadron mass spectrum.
