Research Interests

Computational materials:

My research focuses on first-principles modeling of geometric, electronic and magnetic properties of nanomaterials, atomic clusters, and cluster-molecule systems.

Among the projects I am working on are the electric polarizabilities of hydrogenated carbon (diamondoids) and silicon nanoclusters and the interaction of silver clusters with small molecules.

Other projects that interest me are the theoretical modeling and interpretation of nuclear quadrupole resonance spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and Mossbauer spectroscopy data for ionic solids, chalcogenides and molecules.
